Aaron Atchley

Between working with granite by day and "streaking naked down hallowed halls" by night, Texas native Aaron Atchley writes songs that give refuge to the soul. Every now and then a song takes you to a greener place that simply makes you feel better. Aaron's heartfelt music does just that.

The son of a musician, Aaron found an old Martin 0018 and learned to play it at an early age listening to Donovan records. Soon he was performing professionally whenever he could and wrting his own songs.

Aaron's songs create castles in the clouds imagery. The songs on Edge of Town were written during travels between Texas and Haight-Ashbury. They resonate with a hedonistic appetite for life balanced by a spiritual purity.

When asked about the inspiration for his songs, Aaron replied that he was no stranger to life changes. His songs reflect a libertine spirit, while his guitar gently guides the listener to understand the lessons even free spirits have to learn.
